Effect of Rare Earths on the Structure and Properties of H13 Steel Surface by Pulse Plasma nitro-carburizing Treatment
Pulse plasma nitro-carburizing treatment was employed to H13 steel surface by LD -75 pulse plasma furnace.Microstructure and properties of nitro-carburized layers were studied by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), optical mi croscope (OM) and microhardness tester.Influence of rare earths (RE) concentration on the micro structure, thickness of nitro-carburizing layer, phase structure and graded hardness were investiga ted.
