Mechanical Properties on Cu by Surface Mechanical Attrition Treatment(SMAT)
The article introduces the effect of surface mechanical attrition treatment(SMAT) times and pre-treat-ment methods on the strength and ductility of pure copper.Among them, the ultimate strength and the yield strength both increase along with SMAT time.No matter which processing route was adopted.Meanwhile, Various pre-treatment methods for final material mechanics perfor mance also have a decisive role.The mechanical be havior relationship and reason is briefly discussed in the review.
