The Composite Interface Research for High Boron High Speed Steel Compound Roll Collar
In this work, the high boron high speed steel compound roll collar is developed on the basis of previous studies, and the organization and performance of two kinds of compound roll collar are compared which inner layer is nodular cast iron and semi-steel respectively.The diffusion mecha nism of composite interface was studied, the results show that the metallurgical combination of compos ite interface is done by part dements dissolved and elements diffussion.The composite interface of high boron high speed steel/semi steel is better, and its impact toughness, thermal shock properties and wear resistance are significantly better than that of high boron high speed steel/nodular cast iron com pound roll collar, the interface shear strength rea ches 380 Mpa.
