The Room Temperature Tensile Properties and Affecting Factors of Cu-Al2O3 Alloys
Cu-Al2O3 alloys has been found a wide application prospect in the field of modern elec tronic and electrotedmics due to the excellent com prehensive physical and mechanical properties. The room temperature tensile properties and affecting factors of Cu-A1203 alloys were investigated. The results show that the tensile strength increases with the increases of Al2O3 content and cold deformation and the tensile strength decrease with the increase of annealing temperatures. The tensile strength is sharply decreased when the annealing temperature is above 900℃.The SEM fractures of Cu-A12O3 al loys have tough-fracture characters as many iso metric dimples on a macroscopic scale. The fracture mechanism of Cu-Al2O3 alloys iS micro-void ac cumulation fracture.
