Effect of Oxygen Content on CoNiCrAlY Powders Oxidation Behavior
CoNiCrAlY powders with similar granulometry and chemical composition, but differ ent oxygen content were prepared by vacuum inner gas atomization.The oxidation behavior of powder at 1000 ℃ was investigated by mass gain and rate measurements, X-ray diffraction, scanning elec tron microscope and energy spectrum analysis.The results show that the change of mass gain and rate increase obviously with the time increasing; their re lationship is linear at the former stage and parabolic at the later stage.The formed oxide consisted of Al203was detected by XRD after 16h.the intensity of its diffraction peaks became stronger with time.The oxidation resistance of the powder depends on the concentration gradient of oxygen.
