Study on the Problems and Countermeasures of Closing and Merging Schools in Rural Areas-Based on empirical investigation of parents view

摘要：

　　The policy of closing and merging schools has been implied for over a decade, while optimizing the rural educational resources, it also caused many problems.Through field investigation, this research reflects current situation and existing problems of the schools in the rural areas of Baoding City, Hebei Province.We used the descriptive analysis, overall regression and sub-group regression methods to process the data, and explored the main factors influencing the merger of schools from three categories as the school building, room and board situation and family situation.And we analyze the major problems which parents are concerned about.Finally we put forward relevant countermeasures to solve the problems, and to provide useful reference for the education department to make decision.
