Innovative Teaching Method in Landscape Course Design Project-Design Survey Based on Environmental Behavior Theories
Urban Park has been regarded as one of the crucial criteria of the urban environmental quality, particularly in some Chinese cities during the rapid urbanization process.Therefore, the Urban Park planning and design projects, either as the actual project or landscape course project, have attracted more and more attentions of practitioners and educators.This paper applied environmental behavior theories to lead the students to participate in the preliminary design stage of an actual Urban Park planning and design project from the perspective of landscape teaching innovation.We creatively did design survey and analysis through place observations and questionnaires based on environmental behavior to provide guidance for the course design project and simultaneously offer reference data for the actual project design.
