Analysis of Scattering Wave Field around a Cavity with Circular Cross-Section Embedded in Saturated Soil

  In this paper, Greens function for two-phase saturated soils is developed by the integral transformed method based on Biots saturated porous medium wave theory.A boundary element in tegral equation for wave scattering by a cavity embedded in saturated soils was established.Exam pies dealing with the problems of wave scattering and dynamic stress concentration of P harmonic plane waves by a circular cavity in a half-space poroelastic soil medium were solved, and the pro posed methodology was discussed.The numerical results are found to be in excellent agreement with the existing results.
