Test and Evaluation of Vibration Environment in Low-Lying Waiting Hall of High-Speed Railway
Structural vibration in buildings can affect occupants in reducing their quality of life and working efficiency, so more and more attention is paid to research vibration comfort in buildings.Due to restrictions on occupied area, parts of high-speed railway stations are elevated with the lines over waiting hall in China.In order to evaluate comfort of passengers in low-lying waiting hall of Suzhou North Railway Station, there was some acceleration measuring points on the floor of waiting hall near the piers of main line.Consulting with relevant standards, non-weighted r.m.s.aceelera tion, maximum weighted acceleration level and vibration dose value are calculated.Because the floor vibration during operation is long-time and intermittent and needs to consider both the magni tude and duration of the vibration, vibration dose value is more reasonable.This method can pro vide reference to evaluate vibration comfort of similar structures.
