Vibration Analysis for Vehicle-Bridge Interaction by Duhamel Integral Method
With the assumption that the interaction forces between vehicle and bridge can be repre sented linearly within a certain period, an analytical method is proposed for solving the dynamic re spense of vehicle-bridge interaction system by Duhamel integral under linear load.A moving vehicle with a wheel (unsprung-mass), a spring, a damper and a sprung-mass passing through a simply supported beam with 32 m span at a constant speed is taken as a case study.The dynamic analysis of the coupled system is carried out by using the proposed method and the traditional Newmark-β method, respectively.The numerical results show that both calculation results are very close and the proposed method shows good effectiveness in application.
