Mechanical Analysis of Rail Pad Subjected to Dynamic Load Caused by Train
In this study the rail system is simplified as an Euler beam of indefinite length with peri odic elastic supports.The method of integral transform is employed to solve the load responses on the rail pad when the rail is subjected to a moving harmonic load, and analytical solution of fre quency spectrums and integral solution of time-domain responses are obtained.The solution is veri fied by degeneration analysis through the decrement in disposing spacing of rail pad.The frequency spectrums and time-domain responses of train loads are analyzed on the basis of the results of single load.By means of proposed solutions the influences of velocity, stiffness, support spacing and ex citing frequency on the load of fasteners are investigated.
