Water Ecological Carrying Capacity Evaluation Method Based on PSS Index Framework

　　This paper presents an improved Water Ecological Carrying Capacity (WECC) evaluation index system which is on the basis of Pressure-Support Force-State (PSS) Index Framework.This index system can reflect the intemal relationships of WECC, can highlight the direct WECC impact factors, and to some extent avoid the past problems of selecting similar indicators and poor correlation indicators with WECC using former index systems.The WECC evaluation ofTieling City is processed under PSS index system From year 2005 to 2010, average value of WECC is 0.59.It is on a weak carrying level and generally in accordance with the real situation.
