Design for Mix Proportion and Construction of Asphalt Concrete Facing Slab in Cold Region

  In cold regions, the asphalt concrete facing slab is superior than the conventional reinforced concrete facing slab while used for anti-seepage.The performance of asphalt concrete for resisting frozen-fracture in low temperature is critical to determine whether the project is successful.In this paper, based on the upper reservoir project of Huhehot pumped storage power station, the key technology of mix proportion design and construction of asphalt concrete facing slab in cold regions is introduced.In addition, the feasibility for construction of asphalt concrete facing slab in low temperature is studied.All these provide referrence to similar projects.
