Study on Impervious and Protective Measures for Shoukoubao CSG Dam

　　Content of the cementing materials in Cemented Sand and Gravel (CSG) is very low.Lab tests show that strength of CSG decreases greatly after long-term dissolution and CSG has low capacity of frost resistance.Impervious aud protective measures should be taken for a CSG dam so as to guarantee safety of the dam.Numerical simulation analysis on long-term behavior of Shoukoubao CSG dam, the first CSG dam under design in China, was carried out and measures were proposed according to calculation results as well as construction requirements and experience.
