Informatization Situation and Challenges in Hydropower Project Construction Phase
Digital, Intelligent and Networked is the new trend of industrialized world, which will also have a huge impact on the production and organization way of infrastructure sectors.Since the Three Gorges Project first introduced and promoted large-scale information management systems represented by TGPMS at the end of last century, China has made great strides in the irfformation technology application in the construction phase of hydropower projects in the past 20 years.Given the new international development trend, To build a centralized core data-sharing platform for coordinating a variety of software tools to be used in the whole project lifecycles covering the engineering design, construction and operational management, then to implement the integrated management and application of all kinds of information resources has become the overall objective of the industry informatization development in the next stage.However, in order to construct the project lifecycle information management platform, different parties in this industry need to get united to resolve the loss problem of technology, business, industry standards and codes.
