Application of Rock-Filled Concrete Technique in Hydraulic and Hydropower Engineering
Rock-Filled Concrete (RFC) technique is a new mass concrete construction technique by using of the high-flowability, segregation-resistance performance of self-compacting concrete. It has advantage, ssuch as low cement content, low heat of hydration, good volume stability, high integrated performance, low-carbon environmental property, etc.It has been successfully applied in over 60 hydraulic and hydropower projects in Beijing, Shanxi Province, Yunnan Province, etc.and won remarkable project benefit. This paper aiming at giving an introduction of the technology, advantages, and development of RFC technique inhydraulicand hydropower engineering based on its applications situations.
