Damage Modeling of a Cemented Sand and Gravel Dam in China

摘要：

　　Cemented sand and gravel dam, abbr.as CSG dam, is a recently developed dam type, with the advantages of low cost, quick construction, safe in structure and environmental friendly.In order to study the safety of this type of dam, laboratory tests are made to determine the properties of CSG material and overloading damage is simulated by nonlinear FEM model.Results show that the dam is of large safety margin.
