The Study of Contemporary Chinese Citizens Effective Participation in Public Decision-making

　　Whether citizen can effectively participate in public decision-making is not only a critical factor for decision-making mechanisms, but also an important ensurance for promoting scientification and democratization.In the face of the problems that a growing importance of citizen participation in the public decision-making, contemporary Chinese citizens political participation compared with the overall development trend of Chinas society, which still needs to be improved in effectiveness.This article is based on contemporary China, from the angles of the effectiveness, first described the contemporary Chinese citizens effective participation in public decision-making process problems, namely the status quo that Chinese citizen participation in organized, orderly and enthusiasm is still far from the requirements of modem political participation.Secondly, from the analysis of both the government and citizens, noting that influence effective citizen participation in public decision-making factors are the traditional Chinese history and culture, social groups and civil society and related systems are not fully developed, and the legal system is not perfect.At last, the essay recommend some methods to improve the effectiveness of the contemporary Chinese citizen participation in public decision-making, such as to popularize modem education, to encourage the development of social organizations and civil society, to sound public decision-making mechanisms and so on.
