Path Choice on Corporate Social Responsibility Public Policy:The Comparative Study between Six Developed Nations and China
The nations gradually pay more attention to the issues about corporate social responsibility in recent few decades.Most of the nations governments play quite important roles in establishing public policies to promote the enterprises fulfilling their corporate social responsibility by legislation, incentives and audits.The common public policy path choices of corporate social responsibility are firstly summarized from six typical developed nations, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Italy and Japan.Through the comparison among them, it is found that their similarities and differences provide the experiences for Chinese public policy path choice on corporate social responsibility.This paper also presents the status quo on the public policy path choice of Chinese corporate social responsibility.It is summarized that China should establish corporate social responsibility public policy path considering both the experiences of the six developed nations and Chinese own developing status.
