On the Structure Model and Strategy Selection of the Protection for Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage
Currently China ranks the lst position on the quantity of the United Nations Representative List of non-material cultural heritage.After 13 years excavation, reorganizations and protection of non-material cultural heritage since 2000, China has formed its non-material cultural heritage protection system, consisted of provincial, municipal and county administrative levels, focusing on the policy & legislation protection, the declaration of non-material cultural heritage, the establishment of cultural and ecological preservation test zones, the creation of international cultural brand.However, because of the impact of global modernization, the insufficiency of state financial support, the weakness of administrative execution, and many other reasons, the non-material cultural heritage protection in China starts to be imbalanced increasingly, especially between the cities and the remote rural areas of backward economy.Even worse, some non-material cultural heritages face being lost and perished, without the care and attention from authorities.In addition, there exist some other related serious problems, including overweighing heritage declaration and neglecting heritage protection, excessively commercialization, management malfunction of cultural and ecological preservation test zones.Thus, these propositions have become major and important issues to be studied: (1) how to understand the relationship nature between non-material cultural heritage and social environment variation; (2) how to effectively match the non-material cultural heritage protective methods and strategies to the heritages cultural content subsistence; (3) how to establish the ecological system of the national strategic management for non-material cultural heritage protection.
