Existing Problems and Countermeasures of Chinese Local Government in Integrity Construction
With the Chinese current circumstance of social credit issues getting worse, the credit crunch of Chinese local governments is becoming more severe at the same time, which is widely concerned and criticized by the social public.Chinese local governments are gradually paying more attention to this issue and they start to carry out government integrity construction, which have turned around the situation that the public distrust the government, and also have maintained the government credible images.However, objectively speaking, dishonest behaviors of Chinese local governments are still outstanding and social public still do not hold high trust in government.Based on these issues, this article firstly summarizes the current situation of Chinese government credit research from the dimension of reality and theory.Subsequently, from the viewpoint of public management, this article analyzes the existing problems in Chinese government integrity construction and proposes solutions to improve Chinese local government integrity construction from the aspects of government responsibility, administrative information publicity, lawful administration, government service ability and integrity education of administrative staff, etc..In this way, local government integrity construction will be enhanced and the goal of credible government will be achieved.
