The Impact of Central Government on the Rare Earth Industry Development in China

摘要：

　　China is a big country of rare earth industry.Rare earth resources, production, consumption and exports rank first in the world.This paper which introduces the current situation of The Rare Earth Industry in China, points out that the problems facing the rare earth industry and the reasons for them.The problems include the overall level of China s rare earth industry is in the low end of the worlds rare earth industry chain.China is relatively weak in the rare earth basic theory and applied research, the ability of new product development.The paper made a more systematic elaboration on the achievement and the problems of the rare earth industry development in China, and has put forward the countermeasure proposals that central government play an increasingly important role in the rare earth industry development in contemporary China.
