Policy Analysis and Influences on Economy,Society and Environment of the Three Gorges Project

摘要：

　　Through collecting, combing the information publicly published by Chinas authorities and experts, we evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the Three Gorges Project on the economic, social and environmental impact with the index of economic value.Besides, the method that is combined with qualitative and quantitative comparison is included as well.Based on the information, further analyses will be carried out on the economic impacts and policies in shipping, power generation and tourism.The social influences and policies in the investment of migrants, flood control and drought relief and cultural relic protection are studied as well.So are the environment impacts and policies in energy conservation and emissions reduction, sediment deposition, water pollution and the geological disasters.This provides a certain theoretical basis and active policy reference for the scientific evaluation of the Three Gorges Project in China.
