Consideration on Pre-retirement Education in China--Based on the Investigation of Enterprises and Public Institutions in Jiangsu,China
Aging society has been an inevitable tendency in 21st century.The number of elderly workers is rising recently, and they are afraid to face the transition of social roles and regular life after their retirement which makes many retiring people suffer from retirement synthetic symptom ahead.We made a survey on the pre-retirement workers about their physical and psychological healthy situations in enterprises and public institutions of Jiangsu province, China.According to the research, we discover that many pre-retirement workers are short of necessary preparation on psychology and skills when facing with the coming retirement life.We discuss the necessity and manners in advocating pre-retirement education in China based on foreign experience.Thus we put forward that government and society should be the main bodies in carrying out pre-retirement education.We advise that government should buy pre-retirement education for the elderly workers to complete the public education system.It will be helpful to ease the bad influence that aging society brings.
