Theoretical Research on the Universities Reform from the Perspective of New Public Management-A Case Study of Eight Universities in Cangzhou

　　As a new mode of public administration, new public management has been integrated into every aspect of social life.It has great influence on the structure and idea of universities.The universities reform is inevitable especially in the context of Chinese market economy, information age, and economic globalization.Against the backgrotmd of the transformation of the public administration pattern, education management also shows new development trends which have lead to a new turn of college education.One of the most noticeable points in the education field is the school reconstruction movement and Quasi-market reform of education with the emphasis on the pursuit of efficiency, full empowerment, and diversified education.This reform involves the changes of government, market, and schools functions in the education management.
