Enhancing the Universal Engineering Management Knowledge Education:Ideas and Framework
The scientific development of Chinas social economy and rapid progress of engineering technology need a large number of inter-disciplinary talents having educational background in both engineering technology and management.It has become a crucial problem to enhance the universal engineering management knowledge education in higher engineering education.The universal engineering management knowledge education makes the teaching of engineering management knowledge penetrate into engineering education curriculum and practical activities.This paper defines the concept of engineering management, and discusses the ideas and an analytical framework based on the bounded rationality hypothesis.Because of the bounded rationality of managers, it is necessary to consider the engineering management education and enhance the universal engineering management knowledge education from the harmonious management idea, overall engineering management idea and lifelong education idea.
