Study on the Evaluation Model of Urban Community Participation in China

摘要：

　　Community participation can be defined that community residents voluntarily participate in community activities, public administration and public construction, or participate in major issues related to the actions and processes of decision-making, management and operation to reflect the shared responsibility and sharing of the results of the community construction, and also the government and non-governmental organizations actively take part in community development in order to promote community to be built better and to achieve the comprehensive development of community residents.The patterns of urban community participation have the participation under mobilization or education, the participation manipulated or depended on and voluntary participation.The main contents of participation include social participation, culture participation, economic participation and political participation.The measurement includes breadth of participation indicator and depth of participation indicator operated by five aspects and the evaluation model of urban community participation is constructed.
