Research on Legal Issues Relating to Reform of Commercial Registration System:Zhuhai Experience and Enlightenment
The large number of requirements for commercial registration in Chinas current law has become the bottleneck for economic development.On November 29, 2012, the Eighth Session of the Standing Committee of the Peoples Congress of Zhuhai enacted The Business Registration Ordinance of Zhuhai Special Economic Zone (hereinafter referred to briefly as The Ordinance), which was implemented on March 1, 2013.It marks Zhuhai as the first city to establish a complete system of commercial registration and regulations in China.And the reform of commercial registration policy in Zhuhai helps to reduce the administrative cost and ease the burden of enterprises, which further transforms the government functions by promoting the cooperation and interaction throughout different government departments so as to build up a legal and open environment of business.
