Ecological Progress Promotion:The Value Orientation and Demand of Reality of Socialism
Since the beginning of the 21st century, energy and resource scarcities and ecological environment deterioration have been the global issues that constrain the development of all the countries.This severe problem is also a warning of the future of human beings.Against this background, standing in the forefront of times and with the general course of the development of human society in mind, the Communist Party of China (CPC) made a timely proposal of promoting ecological progress after reflecting on the gains and losses of the industrial civilization.What is more, on the 18th national congress of the CPC, making ecological progress has been given high priority in the overall arrangements for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, thus indicating the direction for its development.
