Research on Local GovernmentsStrategies of Loss-making Regional Airports in China

摘要：

　　The regional airport plays more important role in civil aviation industry in China.Under the the civil aviation superpower concept, the local governments are enthusiastic in regional airport projects to stimulate local economy.But many internal and external problems lead to large losses instead, which becomes a burden to regional government.In order to solve this problem, the regional airports need to upgrade their operation and management.Moreover, a reasonable strategy by the government is also needed.This paper discusses the regional airport and the current situation of the domestic civil aviation market from the perspective of local government, using the PEST model to design the strategic decision-making for local government, and provides strategic suggestions.
