The Analysis of Chinese Urban and Rural Family Happiness Status from the Perspective of Public Administration--On the Basis of the Survey on Family Happiness in Chongqing China
Purpose-in the process of constantly advancing urbanization and industrialization, along with the continuing reforming, family as the basic unit of society is becoming increasingly important in the development process of China.Family happiness is one of the objectives in family progress, and family members concentrate on how to promote family to achieve the efficient and healthy growth, how to improve family well-being is the essential goal of them.Design/methodology/approach-On the basis of the survey on Family Happiness in Chongqing in 2012, to reflect the situation of family development, family members have been interviewed about the subjective attitude towards the degree of self-family development, namely happiness, as well as the important factors which in impact of family happiness and needs in improving the well-being and family development process.Findings-Family self-development, from the micro perspective, have urban and rural areas as the split point, there are significant differences among factors that affect family happiness, but the marital relationship is the common factor both for urban and rural community families, other factors are neither identical.Meanwhile the family with the help of the government sector has certain requirements in the development process.Practical implications—Families in the development process face some challenges and problems that how to deal with the relationship between factors in self-family development, as well as how the needs of family development from the governments public management levels are met.Originality/value—In China on the development of family happiness are very few empirical.studies, in the study, important factors in the development of some of the familys reaction, as well as the requirements of family in development process should be understood and met.
