Analysis the National Science Foundation from 2001 to 2012:Taking the Research of Library and Information Science Subject as an Example

　　In order to provide reference for the subject development, this paper based on the research projects granted by the National Social Science Fund and the National Natural Science Fund on Library and Information Science between 2001 and 2012 analyses the year distribution, organization distribution and subject distribution.As a result, we get that subject is in a stage of vigorous but unbalanced development.The subject is highly concentrated in institutions of higher learning.The research topics not only focused on the traditionally core contents, but also the emerging research fronts.
