What is Public Worry About in Time of Public Emergency:An Empirical Study of the Questions and Answers Posted on the Online Q & A Communities in Toxic Gelatin Event
The goal of this study is to assess the questions and answers public posted on online Q&A community in time of publie emergency.And the types of questions, quality of answers and information requirements of public are analyzed in this paper.In order to assess this information, an analysis framework is proposed to analysis the Q&A text.The text classification and clustering, content analysis and spearmans rank correlation coefficient methods are all included in this framework.After that an empirical analysis is given.The result show that: the questions can be broadly classified as follow: the need of fact, the need of product quality information, the need of background knowledge, the need of principals information and discontent message.The main concern which public expressed in their posted message is physiological needs and security requirements.Furthermore, our countries netizens were rarely cited the information from governments web site, nonprofit organizations web site and web news in their answers.And some suggestions which can help government to improve crisis communication are given at last.
