Research on Descriptions of Digital Objects for Mass Digitalization Projects Based on Entity Relationship Model

　　This paper uses the methods of experi menting, literature researching and interviewing, illustrates the idea of constructing a deep digital resource description scheme, which can explain the characteristics of fine-grained dements and their relationships.The study firstly summarized the contents and structure of RDA, then explained its advantages.Secondly, it analyzed the possibility of the application of RDA in mass digitization projects.Lastly, it constructed the Descriptions structure of digital objects for mass digitalization projects based on entity relationship model from 4 aspects, such as content, name, manifestation and relationship.
