The Developing Change of Concept Category and Classification Method in the Thesaurus Establishment
The paper analyzes the developing changes of the category system and classiflcation patterns in the revision of the thesaurus under the new environment.According to the revise practice of Chinese Thesaurus, the paper also gives four methods of conceptual category in the thesaurus, such as giving the categories of concepts based on source category number and merge strategy, determining the categories with terminology rapping and automatic acquisition of hierarchical relationship, identifying the categories concept belonging to in accordance with word family characteristics of the concept, and sorting by the logical relationships of concepts.In addition, it also analyzes some problems during concept classification, such as the control of the conceptual category quantity, the classification strategy of some special concepts, the contradiction caused by the terms and categories with the same word forms, and erroneous classification problems caused by category counotation cross.
