Analysis on Obstacles and Strategies in Promoting Resource Utilization of Biogas Slurry in China

  With the development of livestock and poultry industry, the breeding industry is becoming more intensive.It causes a series of environmental problems, and has become a barrier to sustainable agricultural development.In recent years, the anaerobic digestion technology has become the main way to reduce manure pollution.Although anaerobie digestion can remove a large number of soluble organic substances from the high ooncentration organic sewage (the removal rate can be 85%-90%) 1.A large amount of anaerobic digestion liquid residue is discharged directly without appropriate treatment, which can cause serious pollution to the environment.At present, the output ofbiogas slurry is up to 400 million tons every year in China; however, very few are reused.In a sense, biogas slurry is not wastewater but an organic fertilizer resource.It contains large amounts of nutrients and other useful substances, so it is a pity discharging it as waste fluid, and more seriously it will cause environmental pollution.How to make rational use of biogas slurry has become a problem for sustainable development of biogas project, which is urgent to be solved.This paper analyzed the obstacles and questions existing in promoting resource utilization ofbiogas slurry in China, and put forward the suggestions to these questions, in order to provide theoretical support for make better use of biogas slurry in the future.
