Calcination of CSA-CA-Type Clinker With Preheating Kiln
CSA-CA-type clinker (CSA-1) is a high-performance early strength agent and expansive agent.This article is based on the research of how calcina tions temperature and atmosphere will influence the stability of SO3 content in production of CSA-1 clinker.Study also gives the comparison between Hollow kiln and Preheating kiln in respect of production efficiency, energy consumption, and level of SO3 escape.From the research result, we can conclude that, C4 A3(S) is suitable for low temperature calcination with the appropriate liter weight of 750 ~ 850g/L.Higher temperature will decrease amount of SO3 in C4 A3(S) to a defective level.It is better to use oxidizing flame to calcine CSA-1, in order to avoid the ap pearance of CO, further more to prevent the decomposition of gypsum and in crease the amount of escaped SO2.It is suitable to use the preheating kiln to calcine CSA-1 clinker and help to improve the production efficiency significant ly, reduce the energy consumption and also reduce the SO2 emissions.
