Application of Grate Cooler on the Manufacture of Sulphoaluminate Cement Clinker
The common cooling method for sulphoaluminate cement clinker manufacture is by rotary cooler.However, there are many disadvantages for the rotary cooler method, such as low efficiency in heat utilization, hin dering the observation and shape of the flame, low cooling efficiency, slow cooling and crystallization of the clinker, and low strength of the clinker.In this study, grate cooler was successfully applied on the manufacture of sulphoaluminate cement clinker, which was usually thought not suitable due to the considerable amount of fine powder during the manufacture of sulphoaluminate cement clinker.The results are useful for setting up or a dapting of manufacture system of sulphoaluminate cement clinker.
