Exploratory Quantitative Study of Nation Soft Power and Correlation Analysis
Relying on the objective quantitative evaluation system of Yan Xuetong and Zhong Zhen, the nation soft power is divided into three parts which are international attraction power, international mobilization power and domestic mobilization power.Utilizing statistical analysis method, the ranking of nation soft power among the top 101 GDP nations in 2011 is established and the most essential factor influenced nation soft power is presented.Implementing the structural equation model, the correlations between the nation soft power and each of its three parts and the relationship between the three parts are discovered, as well as the correlation between the national economic strength and the nation soft power is obtained.Finally, suggestions about promoting nation soft power especially for China are proposed.
