Comprehension about Social Management Innovation:From the Perspective of Soft Power Construction

　　As an increasingly popular theory that emerged in recent years, soft power theory emphasizes the importance of soft power in comprehensive strength of a nation and advocates harmonious development of soft power and hard power.By setting soft power theory as the research perspective, this paper discussed relation between soft power construction and social management innovation.It considers that in China, compared with rapid development of hard power, soft power construction in social field lags behind; traditional social management mode is still in use, but it can no longer meet the requirements of era development in various aspects like management philosophy, system & mechanism, and pattems& methods.Therefore, it is urgent to strengthen social management innovation, promote transformation from traditional social management to modem social governance.Specifically speaking, we need to realize effective connection and good interaction between hard government management and soft social self-governance in social management.
