An Empirical Study on the Impacts of Career Plateau of University Teachers on Work Satisfaction

　　In the current university, this phenomenon of teachers career plateau is widespread.Especially in recent years, since a large number of people being highly educated pour into the university and competition is more intense, this phenomenon of teachers career plateau will become more apparent.Using data collected from 306 teachers being from various types of colleges and universities in Shandong Province, this paper explores the impacts of career plateau on the work satisfaction.This study has found that there is some negative correlation between hierarchical plateau、 content plateau、centralizing plateau and intrinsic satisfaction and extrinsic satisfaction.
