Synthesis and Characterization of PANI/PVA Membrane
Polyaniline (PANI) composite material was achieved by oxidation polymerization reaction. The initial solution was constituted mainly by the monomer aniline mixed with dopant dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid.PANI membrane was coated by the KW-4A spin coater. The structure and performance of PANI composite membrane was characterized by tiie scanning of electron microscope (SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy the meter (FTIR) and electrochemical workstation. The results indicated that PANI particles can be dispersed evenly in the Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) matrix while tiie conductivity and electrochemical properties of the PANI/PVA composites was affected by synthesis parameters, including tiie molar ratio of DBSA:AN,tiie content of oxidant and the external environment. When n (DBSA) I n (AN) = 1.03 under the same condition, tiie conductivity of PANI membrane is up to 1.28 S I cm with the best eleclrochromic performance, tiie thermal stability, and tiie decomposition temperature of 301 °C,which is very suitable as tiie eleclrochromic material.
