Study on Hydrophobic Treatment of Nano-Ti02

  Hydrophobic Ireatoient and characterization of nano-Ti02 as an additive in MicroPCMs(microencapsulated phase change materials) were investigated.Phenyl trimethoxysilane(PTMS) and octyl trimetiioxysilane(OTMS) were selected to modify the surface properties of nano-Ti02.Conditions of Ireatoient were studied.The screening of treating agent was determined by contact angle test.The product was evaluated by particle size test,activated rate and FUR techniques.The results show that the treated agent when grafted on nano-Ti02 OTMS is better.The hydrophobicity of nano-Ti02 is highly improved after Ireatoient.
