Preparation and Properties of Natural Plant Fly Expelling Microcapsule and Fabric

　　The fly expelling active components were extracted from tiie natural plant,such as stems and leaves of mint and tomato,tiie extracted oils were used to make the fly expelling microcapsules by a w/o/w mutually-phase emulsion metiiod,the optimum technological parameters of preparing microcapsules is: 3% (w/v) of Emulsifier concentration,1:7 of the organic phase: water phase,3% (w/v) of the shell material,1.5% (w/v) of protective colloid.The average sizes of microcapsule particles are about 2.98-3.59 um,the morphology are spherical.The fly expelling finishing agents were prepared with tiie microcapsules solution and polymer adhesive,and were treated to the pure cotton fabric.The testing results indicated that its fly expelling ratio come up to 80%.
