Surface Modification of the Polyacrylonitrile Membrane by NH3 Plasma Treatment
In tiiis study,NH3 plasma was used to improve the polyacrylonitrile (PAN) membrane surface antifouling property.The modification induced by the plasma treatment in the material was analyzed using contact angle measurements.Ultrafilter was used to measure flux recovery rate.The plasma was created by a radio frequency generator.The best plasma treatment condition was carried out at 60 W,60s,in this condition;the surface hydrophilicity is significantly improved.The results show a much better membrane surface antifouling property witii a considerable increase in tiie flux recovery rate.
