The Effects of Different Bio-enzymatic Pre-treatments on the Degumming Process for Rice Straw

  The effect of chemical degumming and biological enzyme/chemical degumming on fiber fineness,flexibility,strengtii and residual gum rate were mainly studied.The results showed that biological enzyme /chemical degumming technique not only reduced tiie dosage of chemical reagents and the environment pollution,also effectively improved the properties of rice straw fiber,such as fineness,strength,softness.The optimized process of hemicellulose enzyme degumming were as follows: hemicellulose enzyme concentration is 10% (o w f),temperature is 50 °C,time is 10 h,pH is 9,bath ratio is 1:30.The optimized process of pectic enzyme degumming were as follows: pectin enzyme concentration is 8% (o w f),temperature is 45 °C,time is 8 h,pH is 5,batii ratio is 1:30.
