The Consumer Behavior and Potential Market for Customized Shoes in Hong Kong
In tiiis study,a survey to investigate the shopping behavior and the interest in customized shoes was conducted using 156 participants.Their preference towards shoes,general shopping habits and interest towards customized shoes were compared in several aspects including gender and education level.It was found tiiat in Hong Kong,consumers put more emphases on design and quality of the shoes instead of comfort.They are brand-aware and are willing to pay more for goods witii a brand rather tiian witiiout brand.Women are more interested in the idea of customized shoes compared to men.The result of tiiis study serves as a reference for market positioning for footwear producers.
