International Subjective Sensory Evaluation of Fabrics

　　This study was based on the result of an experiment,which was about a subjective evaluation of the fabrics.The experiment was carried out in Xi an Polytechnic University in China,and made a statistical analysis on the result of the experiment.50 students who majored in textile and apparel were organized to do the subjective test.They used two different methods finger or forearm,to evaluate 19 different types of fabrics,and they gave score for the 13 properties of each fabric.Statistical analysis,singular value processing,descriptive analysis,and two kinds subjective evaluations contrast were conducted and calculated,including tiie average value and their maxim value of different properties.Finally,the correlation between tiie comfortableness and other 12 properties were analyzed.
