A Method for Female Model Body Shape Evaluation and Its Application

　　This study selected 259 young female fashion models ranging from 18 to 21 years in age as participants,whose body shape were measured by 5 fashion experts.According to the results,30 participants with higher scores were chosen to form tiie comparison group,and 30 participants with lower scores formed tiie control group.The bodies of the participants from both groups were evaluated.Based on tiie result of t-test and expert measurement,8 ratios of measurement from a total of 16 ratios were selected as evaluating indicators of female models body shape.The weights of these indicators were obtained with attribute hierarchical model (AHM) metiiod.Based on this model and theoretical principles,a computer-aided female models body shape evaluation system was developed.
