Research and Analysis on Feature Parts of Human Body Based on Surface Flattening in Three-dimensional Apparel Design

  The extraction and analysis of data in three-dimensional (3D) body scan is a key technology in 3D garment CAD system.The human body is a complex curved surface body.The curved surface of 3D human body must be expanded reasonably;it is an important basis to realize tiie intelligent plate making technology in the field of garment CAD.In this paper,tiie surface flattening requirements of 3D scanning body in tiie field of garment CAD are analyzed.The relationship between the parameters related to surface flattening in 3D human body and tiie design parameters of garment structure is studied.Eventually,a technology of surface flattening is provided to actualize the digital garment prototype design in a 3D human body.This article takes GB1335-91 160/84 of a females model as a scanning object,and takes tiie human body chest as an example.Then the extraction process on human body chest and tiie relationship between the human body surface flattening and tiie choice of feature sizes are analyzed.It will provide basis for the expansion of human body surface automatically,the related pattern design and automatic generation,which is related to apparel design.
